Bateau Bay
CENTRAL COAST
Bateau Bay for Christmas
I arrived at Bateau Bay Beach around mid morning after visiting Long Jetty on Lake Tuggerah. I was in need of a caffeine fix so I stopped at the Bateau Beach cafe. The vibe at the cafe was relaxed and the coffee was excellent. Coffee at the ready I drove on the short distance to the beach. The beach was bustling but I soon found a park near the picnic area.
Taking a look around I found that Bateau Bay Beach links up with the Wyrrabalong Coastal Walk which leads up to the Crackneck Point lookout which offers stunning views!
I settled at the picnic area which provided a nice shady spot to send my drone up. Once in the air I had a birds eye view of the bay and the coastline which was breathtaking!
Cruising above the beach I was surprised to see a familiar character I’m sure we are all familiar with. Santa Claus was on the beach taking photos with beach goers and having a jolly old time.
Bateau Bay offers everything you could ask for in a coastal destination. Cools waters are ideal for a swim, snorkelling, surfing and whale watching. Situated a short drive from the Entrance and Forresters Beach it is a location well worth the stop during your adventures around the Central Coast of NSW.
