Surfs up at Copacabana
Copacabana Beach is located on the Central Coast and is not to be confused with the famous beach in Brazil although it has its own special charms known to locals and tourists alike.
Copacabana Beach is the perfect place for beach goers and families to relax and spend the day playing games in the sand or enjoying a swim in the cools waters.
Surfers and body boarders will enjoy what the surf has to offer here. Although the beach is sheltered from the Northeasterly winds wave riders will have no trouble catching a wave.
One of my favourite attractions is the whale viewing platform located along the beach. Between May and August Humpback Whales can be seen during their migration to the warmer waters off the Central Coast. As a photographer myself, you will find me angling to catch a glimpse of these majestic creatures with my drone next season.
